Morality. Mortality. More Vitality

Overwhelmed by the colour and variety of plastic and cord that emerges in the world as scraps and leftovers, of seemingly insignificant material that without due care and attention begins to accumulate.  Materials that too readily become discarded  as small moments of insignificance.  Yet each piece indicates a form of manufacturing, a series of intelligent decisions being made by a plethora of managers and workers in its making.  Behind the scenes these moments of thread tell a bigger story of our industrial production and become an archaeology of the ways in which we have  applied our attention to making and production
